I am fascinated by the vocabulary of paint—how it expresses tactility and materiality and how the canvas surface becomes a source of multiple meanings

I seek to transform the canvas into a complex surface of contrasting textures, collages and finished drawings which culminate in a personal pictorial language of paint.
